Following on from our successful beta release, Cisco Meraki wireless devices are now fully supported in Highlight.

Use the Organisation drop-down to retrieve a list of all available organisations. Select one and Highlight will discover access points in that organisation only.

Highlight has introduced support for Juniper QFX switches along with other switches from Cisco, HP (Procurve), Juniper, Extreme and H3C. For further details on specific models, please speak to your account manager or contact us.

With LAN switch monitoring you get a fast, detailed picture of how your switches are performing - traffic levels, health issues, outages on every port, presented in a simple clear format. You can designate specific ports as 'critical' (for example, server connections) and Highlight will alert if these ports have problems.

The header for each watch on the Details page has been updated to clearly show:

• icon
• watch name
• bandwith (for bearers, traffic classes, VLANs and multilink)
• watch type (product type, if completed, will display instead of watch type for bearers)
• description (if completed)

We also clearly label:

launches detailed technical information for the device associated with the watch including hostname, hardware type and software version, IP addresses, and interfaces

Change

opens a prepopulated email to request changes to watch details

Edit

for admin users with the relevant permission, opens the edit watch dialog

Partners will now be notified faster of any issues with agents. Ensure the Notify field is completed with one or more email addresses.

The agent down alert email will now contain:

• Hostname
• IP Address list
• OS Version
• Agent Group Name

• An alert will now be sent if the MOS value returned from the router is lower than the configured MOS target
• Fortigate devices now correctly validate, no longer being stuck in a validation loop which prevented link health information being gathered.
